Crystal Caday-Bargayo
PROGRAMS DIRECTOR
Crystal previously worked for Women In Need as a Case Manager/Housing Specialist for the WIN House and Kealaula. She has worked for several nonprofit agencies on the island of Kauaʻi for the past 13 years and completed her Community Health Worker certificate in May 2018.
She is involved in various service clubs like East Kauaʻi Lions Club, Kauaʻi Filipino Chamber of Commerce, Hawaiʻi Community Health Worker Association, and FilCom CARES. She is also a Real Estate agent and is currently enrolled in Leeward Community College working toward getting a certificate in substance abuse counseling.
Crystal has over 10 years of experience working with the houseless community as a case manager, housing specialist, and Community Health Worker. She has worked with organizations such as Kauaʻi Economic Opportunity, Family Life Center, Catholic Charities Hawaiʻi, Wilcox Hospital, Women In Need, and Transformation House. She has experience working in a homeless emergency shelter, transitional housing, and permanent supportive housing with the Women In Need Kealaula project, and permanent housing. She is an Outreach Coordinator with FilCom CARES. She has experience in administering the Rapid ReHousing/Prevention program and Housing First program. She is the Kauaʻi island representative for the Hawaiʻi Community Health Workers Association (CHW).
