The Kauhale O Waipouli project will include 17 homes located on the Ke Ala Hele Makalae path and just steps from Waipouli Beach. This community will consist of eight duplexes and one single-family home. This project is being co-developed with Kaua’i Habitat for Humanity, who will build 13 homes for households at 80% AMI and below. PAL Construction will build four homes for households at 115% AMI and below. All homes will include 2bed/1bath or 3bed/2bath.
All PAL homes will be placed into our Ho‘omaluhia Community Land Trust, ensuring they remain affordable for generations to come. These homes will be sold leasehold, keeping families rooted in the community while protecting against the pressures of rising housing costs.
