Fred Aviguetero
MAINTENANCE & CONSTRUCTION MANAGER
With over two decades of experience, Fred has built a strong background in maintenance, beginning in 2000 as a technician at the Embassy Vacation Resort at Poipu Point, where he later became a supervisor. During his time there, he developed essential skills in problem-solving, management, and learning how to adapt to various maintenance challenges. He credits his growth to listening to supervisors and managers, learning the importance of humility, and enhancing his leadership skills through management courses.
In 2013, Fred transitioned to working in affordable housing at Pa’anau Village, where he embraced new challenges, including navigating diverse resident needs and adhering to housing regulations and laws from various agencies. His ability to handle complex projects, write proposals, and collaborate with vendors has been a key part of his success.
Today, as PAL Hawai'i’s Maintenance & Construction Manager, Fred brings his deep knowledge and passion for community work, ensuring that all facilities run smoothly and efficiently while fostering relationships with both county housing officials and vendors. His dedication to affordable housing and his problem-solving skills continue to make a meaningful impact on PAL’s mission.
