Moana Waipa
FINANCIAL CONTROLLER
Moana is a Kanaka ʻŌiwi (Native Hawaiian) and foster mother of two keiki (children), born and raised in Hanamāʻulu, Kauaʻi. She graduated from Kauaʻi Community College with a double associate degree in Business and Accounting. While pursuing her associate degrees, she gained hands-on experience in accounting for a nonprofit health organization. She then graduated from Arizona State University Online with a double bachelor’s degree in Business and Accounting. While pursuing her bachelor’s degrees, she worked at a nonprofit private school in the accounting department. She has also worked for a commercial property management company focusing on budgeting multi-million dollar properties, financial forecasting, invoicing, tenant communications, and project management.
Moana is committed to serving the people of Kauaʻi, and she values being part of Permanently Affordable Living to restore hope for the community that she grew up in.
