After years watching PAL Hawaiʻi come to life, Sarah was approached by her hula brother, Larry Graff, to join the team. Sarah came with strong communication skills and a passion for bringing joy to people’s lives, saying, “PAL is about the depth of the heart of the people, being inspired by the resilience of the community, and the generosity of those who give so much to make a difference.”

Before PAL, Sarah spent seven years with Apple celebrating stories that inspire millions of people around the world. As an Art Director and Designer, Sarah worked on projects for iPhone, Mac, iOS, macOS, and more, fine-tuning her design aesthetic through thousands of projects spanning across a 20-year career. Sarah has won multiple awards, such as the Judge’s and People’s Choice “Awwwards” for design excellence, and Williams-Sonoma awards for her skill, attention to detail, and positivity.

Sarah’s resilience is most profoundly witnessed in her ability to overcome chronic pain after going through 10 surgeries and learning to walk again. Sarah finds freedom in swimming, competes in statewide open water challenges, and is forever grateful for her partner, swim friends, and ʻohana.
